Not a Government Office or Records Custodian. Liberty Residents Directory is a private reference service. We cannot retrieve or certify records, confirm who lives at an address, or change an official roll or database. Send those requests to the agency or repository that keeps the original record. For an emergency, call 911. If someone is stalking or harassing you, contact local law enforcement.
Finding the Right Record
Use the route that matches the record and the question:
- Address, parcel, or street record: start with By Street for the Clay County assessor, GIS, and deed sequence.
- Historical directory or address history: use City Directories or Past Residents for dated archival sources.
- One-person record verification: consult the Resident Lookup route and the original custodian's access rules.
- Office and records-access path: use the Liberty and Clay County contacts listed with the relevant record type, including the Missouri Sunshine Law process for unindexed material.
- Records not online: make a focused request to the keeper that names the record type, date range, address, parcel ID, or case number, and ask for an estimate before chargeable work.
